Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications for new and existing systems. The position requires the person to:Design, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software programs and applicationsEffectively communicate with business users, team members, and managementDesign and implement robust, flexible, easily maintainable solutions to problemsIdentify and present opportunities for process improvement Desired Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.An understanding of object oriented and/or functional design paradigms and best practicesHigh aptitude for logical thinking and pattern recognitionEnthusiasm for learning new technologies and practices to overcome existing challengesAbility to adapt to constant change and innovationUnderstanding of Web technologies based on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript such as AngularKnowledge of Responsive Design (Mobile), Database Design (SQL), ASP.NET, WebAPI, Core MVC, C#, F#, C++, Automated Testing, Software Development Lifecycle, Agile Methodologies, or Version Control Practices (git) is a plusFamiliarity with as many of these AWS technologies as possible: Glue, SageMaker, Secrets Manager, Simple Queuing Service, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECR, CDK, SAM, IAMBenefitsAuto-Owners offers a wide range of career opportunities, and we are seeking talent that will help us continue our long tradition of success.
