We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team at Nexus of Cahokia! As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving delicious meals to our patients, residents, and staff. Cook Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective meal service
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed
- Participate in menu planning and development, ensuring that patient and resident needs are met
- Experience as a Cook or in a related role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and stand for extended periods
- This is a full time position with varying shift schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Our kitchen is a busy and dynamic environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability
