Principal Associate, Recruiter

Capital One Shopping is looking for a Principal Associate to join our Recruiting Team. While this role will primarily support Tech recruiting, the associate will have an opportunity to lean into other high growth job families (e.g., Product). The Shopping Tech business is highly engaged, so the perfect candidate for this role is comfortable working with stakeholders in the business to shape the talent profile, passively source great external talent, iterate and move quickly in line with the team’s start-up culture pace, and leverage data to inform process breakdowns and ways to increase funnel efficiency. We seek an addition to our team that is passionate about out-of-the-box problem solving, keeping abreast of trends, and testing and learning with innovative recruiting techniques that enable us to be a best-in-class recruitment shop. Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers and business, group or organization leads, and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process and hiring deliverables, including creating position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One’s talent brand, screening candidates, advising partners on the recruiting process, and negotiating offers Candidate management – develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent, owning the candidate development process from identification and engagement to offer extension and closing Work cross-functionally across a team of recruiters to promote a culture of inspiration, empowerment and inclusion Leverage recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners Source stellar candidates using search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques Qualifications Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification; at least 3 years of experience in recruiting OR 3 years in human resources OR 3 years in client consulting OR a combination Preferred Qualifications: Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification; 4+ years in Corporate Recruiting (full lifecycle, research, sourcing); 2+ years experience consulting with multiple hiring managers; ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment; ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent; experience in compensation and general HR requirements related to hiring Additional Details At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries are listed by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. Locations and ranges include: McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900; Richmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400. Other locations follow their respective pay ranges. This role is eligible to earn performance-based incentives and long-term incentives where applicable.
