TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Abilene, Texas, 79606!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Active Registered Nurse License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Travel experience required Description: Start date within the next 3-5 weeks preferred. Two years and prior travel experience is required. Patient ratios are 1:5 for days and nights. Float between campuses may be required as needed. Must manage patients with primarily med-surg diagnoses. Pre/Post Hemodialysis management is required. Experience with telemetry is essential. Must have skills in blood product administration and central line management. Experience in managing dysrhythmias is required. Utilization of rapid response teams is necessary. Physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy support are provided. Documented experience with various IV management tools preferred. Candidates must adhere to drug screening protocols upon arrival. Positive drug screens will result in automatic cancellation. Compliance with mandatory health screenings is essential. Local radius restrictions apply for registered nurses. Clinicians must provide necessary lab items within 72 hours of offer acceptance. Average modules during orientation take 6-8 hours.
