About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Leadership Team. The CFO will be responsible for providing executive leadership in financial strategy, stewardship, accounting operations, treasury, financial planning, compliance, and enterprise risk management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organization's financial health and supporting its mission of delivering hope and healing to millions of people worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, and a strong background in nonprofit financial management. Expertise in strategic financial planning, forecasting, treasury, audit oversight, regulatory compliance, and financial systems is essential. The successful CFO will also be a trusted strategic advisor, partnering with the President, Board of Directors, and Executive Leadership Team on organizational strategy and long-range planning. Key qualifications include a mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, consistent with the company's mission and Statement of Faith, and a genuine passion for using financial stewardship to advance Kingdom impact. The role requires a leader with executive presence, high emotional intelligence, exceptional communication, and a collaborative leadership style. A CPA is strongly preferred, and experience with ECFA standards or an ECFA-accredited organization is highly desirable. The CFO will lead, coach, and develop a finance team, and must be adept at influencing through relationships and demonstrating a growth mindset balanced with faithful stewardship.
