Welder

The welder is a safety sensitive position responsible for performing high quality welding duties for oilfield related construction and maintenance projects under the direction of the welder foreman. The position also requires a commitment to understanding and exhibiting Titan's mission and core values, following safety rules, federal and state laws and regulations as well as representing the company in a professional, courteous manner at all times.

Role and Responsibilities

• Basic welding and fabrication duties
• Assist with checking accuracy and quality of all phases of fabrication.
• Operate basic shop equipment, including shear, press, iron worker, grinders, etc.
• Read and follow drawing and blueprints
• Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment
• Maintain records and paperwork
• Work cooperatively with other employees
• Follow directions of the supervisor
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Work and commit to a company-wide culture that ensures that safety is everybody's business
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Applicant must be 18 years old.
• Welding skills with both stick and wire welders required.
• Must pass weld test.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Experience with machining a plus.
• Successful completion and passing of company drug screen, background check and fit test
