Senior Accountant – Bonus & Profit Sharing Jobot is a leading global retail partner hosting this role for a prominent client in the manufacturing industry. Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant for a permanent position. The successful candidate will have a central role in our company’s financial operations, handling financial analysis, accounting, forecasting, fixed asset management, cash flow statements, tax incentives, SEC filings, footnotes, consolidations, pensions, month‑end procedures, and 10‑Q/10‑K reporting. Generous CTO. Responsibilities Perform financial analysis and prepare detailed reports and projections on revenues, expenses, and capital expenditures. Manage all accounting operations – Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, reporting variances. Oversee fiscal reporting activities including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and government regulatory reports. Manage and track the performance of invested assets in accordance with policies and investment guidelines. Prepare and file quarterly and annual SEC reports (10‑Q, 10‑K), ensuring accuracy and timely filing. Coordinate the preparation of footnotes to the financial statements. Monitor and analyze department work to develop efficient procedures and resource use while maintaining accuracy. Advise management on routine and non‑routine reporting transactions. Respond to inquiries from the CFO, Controller, and other company‑wide managers regarding financial results and special requests. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum of 3 years of accounting or related experience. Experience with financial reporting requirements, including 10‑Q, 10‑K, and SEC reporting. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly strong in Excel. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, banking, and data analytics. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our company.
