In this role, you will play a pivotal role in helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This full-time contract opportunity involves working onsite across (most likely) two campuses, with a focus on Child Find activities and special education evaluations. Flexibility is available for part-time or short-term candidates as well.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Missouri Department of Education school psychologist certification
• Strong background in administering special education assessments and evaluations
• Experience collaborating with diverse school staff, students, and families
• Familiarity with legal and ethical guidelines in a school setting
• Ability to travel between assigned school locations as required
• Satisfactory fingerprinting and prompt submission of required district forms

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students suspected of needing special education services
• Maintain an average caseload of 8-10 cases at any given time, with a full-time average of 32 cases per year
• Participate in Child Find activities and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and support student interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed
• Keep meticulous records in compliance with district and state regulations
