Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse (Rn)

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to support high-risk obstetric care in a dynamic environment. The role includes floating between multiple units based on the facility's needs, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Manage patient couplets with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3.
• Participate in teamwork and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Float to other units and facilities as required, based on skill set and patient needs.

Schedule And Requirements

• 12-hour shift schedules available, primarily during the day or night.
• Shifts may start at either 3 AM or 3 PM, or at 11 AM or 11 PM.
• Weekend shifts required, with a rotation of every other weekend.
• On-call shifts may be necessary if scheduled shifts are canceled.
• A vehicle is required for this assignment.

Travel And Floating Information

Staff may be required to float between various facilities, including locations in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent. Should a staff member be assigned to a facility outside of Seaside and is required to float there, an additional incentive and mileage reimbursement will be provided. When floating consecutive shifts, accommodations will be provided.
