Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, floating between units as needed.Position OverviewFloating Requirements: Yes, based on unit needs.Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend is required.On-call Requirements: Yes, on scheduled days if shifts are canceled.Expected Patient Ratios: 1:1.Special Requirements: Proficient in High Risk Obstetrics; will float to Mother-Baby Unit (MBU) and Progressive Surgical Care Unit (PSCU).Shift Details: 12-hour shifts starting at either 3 AM and 3 PM or 11 AM and 11 PM. Shifts will primarily be on days or nights, with notice provided for any changes.Vacation Approval: 48 hours off is not approved.RequirementsMust possess a valid vehicle for transportation to assignments.Travelers may be required to float to other units based on their skill sets.FacilitiesThe position may require travel between various locations within the region, including:Milwaukie, ORNewberg, ORPortland, ORHood River, ORWillamette Falls, ORSeaside, ORSaint Vincent, ORFor assignments involving travel to Seaside, an additional incentive will be offered for hours worked at that location, along with mileage reimbursement. If consecutive shifts are required with floating, hotel accommodations will be provided based on availability.Additional InformationType of Facility: Short Term Acute Care.Total Staffed Beds: 418.Scrub Colors: Any color; OR/L&D scrubs provided; Micro Bio Tech to wear business appropriate street clothes (lab coat provided); MLT may wear any color scrubs or business casual.Charting Software: Epic.Parking: No fees for parking.
