Compensation: $24.00-$28.80 per hour - paid weekly

In this role, you'll support the accounting department by processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely vendor payments. • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Match invoices to purchase orders and code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts
• Prepare and process weekly payments through checks, ACH, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies
• Verify pricing, quantities, and approvals before processing payments
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting
• Maintain organized financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls

What You Need to Bring to the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

• Associate degree, diploma, or certificate in Business, Accounting, Administrative Support, or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of accounting, accounts payable, or related administrative experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry functions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
