Shifts: Days 7AM - 7PM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN for a Critical Care Travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves working in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU, providing both routine and complex care with a focus on post-operative cardiovascular surgeries and critical care responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Critical Care

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and/or caregivers
Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families

Requirements of the RN - Critical Care

BLS certification from AHA
ACLS certification from AHA
RN License in state of employment or compact
Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, and post-op cardiovascular surgeries
