Our state-of-the-art sports medicine facility spans 5,000 square feet, housing advanced treatment technologies and resources that empower our team to deliver high-quality care. We pride ourselves on our patient-centered approach and commitment to employing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.Work EnvironmentThis position is based onsite at our Hampton location, allowing you to interact directly with patients and collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals. You will be working within a supportive team environment, consisting of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative approach to patient care. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work schedule conducive to a healthy work-life integration.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' goals and needs, tailoring treatment strategies accordingly.Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and focused care.Utilize prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care to provide expert assessment and intervention strategies.Develop cost-effective treatment options aimed at enhancing clients' mobility, while minimizing reliance on medications.Explore and implement effective non-surgical alternatives, advancing patient progress towards their rehabilitation goals.Create individualized care plans incorporating a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques.Design tailored fitness and wellness programs that address the unique needs and preferences of each patient.Deliver high-quality, personalized physical therapy services rooted in evidence and proven methodologies.Motivate and empower patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize their functional outcomes.Encourage healthy lifestyle choices by focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination improvements.Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and monitor patient progress, maintaining clear communication.Accurately document all services provided to maintain comprehensive patient records.Patient Population / Client FocusOur patient base primarily consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance, presenting a diverse array of orthopedic conditions. You will play a crucial role in assisting patients through their rehabilitation processes, including post-surgical recovery, injury prevention, and enhancement of overall physical performance.QualificationsHold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.Possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.No board actions or disciplinary actions should have been taken against your license.Demonstrate strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise routines.Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is required to ensure efficient patient documentation.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy is highly desirable.Demonstrated success in developing tailored treatment plans that achieve measurable outcomes.Compensation and BenefitsThe position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000–100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
