Laundry Supervisor

The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a meticulous and service-driven Laundry Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s laundry facility. This role is integral to maintaining the exceptional standards of presentation and quality synonymous with a luxury experience. The Laundry Supervisor will lead by example, combining hands-on execution with thoughtful leadership to ensure all linens, uniforms, and textiles are processed with precision, care, and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of laundry operations, including washing, drying, pressing, and finishing of linens, uniforms, and terryEnsure timely and consistent delivery of linen to support guest rooms, dining outlets, spa, and public spacesLead, coach, and develop the laundry team to uphold the highest standards of quality and productivityMaintain a pristine, organized, and safe working environmentPartner with Housekeeping and other departments to anticipate and meet operational needsMonitor linen quality, proactively removing damaged or worn items from circulationCoordinate closely with Engineering to ensure proper maintenance and performance of equipmentKey RequirementsAvailability: Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with business demandsExperience: Minimum of 2–3 years of laundry experience in a hotel, resort, or similar environment requiredLeadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a service-driven environmentPhysical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and safely operate industrial laundry equipmentSkills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsDuties & ResponsibilitiesDirect daily workflow and ensure appropriate staffing levels across all shiftsInspect linens to ensure they meet the hotel’s quality and presentation standardsOperate and oversee commercial laundry equipment with a focus on safety and efficiencyMaintain accurate records of linen inventory, supply usage, and equipment maintenanceManage inventory levels and ordering of supplies to support uninterrupted operationsProvide training and ongoing development to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellenceUphold all safety, sanitation, and operational standardsSupport operations during peak periods through hands-on involvement as neededQualificationsProven experience in commercial laundry operations requiredSupervisory experience within hospitality or healthcare environments preferredStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to perform in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentBasic computer proficiency in tracking and reportingTraits of a Successful CandidateTakes pride in delivering exceptional quality and consistencyLeads with professionalism, accountability, and a hands-on approachHighly organized with strong attention to detailDependable and adaptable in a dynamic environmentCommitted to teamwork and operational excellenceWhy Work HereAt The Jefferson Hotel, excellence is found in every detail.
