Position Summary/Purpose:


We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to become an integral part of our respected medical team. In this vital role, you'll be key to the success of surgical procedures and play a crucial part in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Step into a critical role where your expertise ensures the success of every surgical procedure. In this position, you'll take charge of preparing and organizing the operating room, making sure all instruments and supplies are sterile and ready. You'll be an essential part of the surgical team, assisting surgeons by providing instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile environment, and staying one step ahead of their needs. Your precision and ability to thrive under pressure will be key to the smooth and efficient flow of operations, directly impacting patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure the sterilization of all surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist in the positioning and draping of patients for surgery.
• Provide essential support to surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile field to ensure patient safety and prevent infections.
• Monitor and manage surgical inventory, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to anticipate and meet their needs.
• Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certification / Licensure:
  • Colorado Surgical Technologist license or ability to obtain before the start date (required).
  • Basic Life Support certification (required).
• Related Work Experience:
  • 4+ years of Surg. Tech. experience (strongly preferred).
