Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of polished dining management experience
  • Experience in restaurants generating $4M+ in annual sales
  • Stable work history (no more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years )
  • Openness and ability to relocate if needed
  • Candidates must have restaurant (not exclusively hotel or country club) management backgrounds

Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience working in high-volume, upscale dining environments
  • Professional appearance standards (no facial hair; collar-length or shorter hair for men)

Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards for service and quality
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve outstanding guest experiences
  • Manage scheduling, inventory, and financial performance to meet or exceed targets
  • Foster a positive work environment that supports team growth and development
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement new initiatives and support expansion efforts
