Public Benefits Specialist-Paralegal

Job Description Job Description Cherry Hill law firm seeking a full-time legal assistant. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, be able to handle a high case load, work autonomously and as a team member. The successful candidate will also be comfortable in a support role and be open to training and feedback. Prior experience with Medicaid is helpful but not required. Duties Include:

Corresponding with clients, financial institutions, and long term care facilities to obtain records.
Detailed analysis of financial and other client records
Comprehensive review of client files to ensure completeness
Preparation and filing of Medicaid applications
Drafting of correspondence
Data entry
Filing/Scanning

Qualifications:

Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Must be willing to work 8:30am to 5pm, Mon-Fri
Must have personal goals and desire to improve and grow
Desire to truly help and serve our clients
