Operating Room RN

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a collaborative and patient-focused surgical team. The OR RN is responsible for providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety, maintaining a sterile environment, and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team throughout surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Circulate in the operating room while maintaining sterile technique and adherence to infection prevention standards.
• Prepare the operating room with the appropriate equipment, supplies, and instrumentation.
• Perform patient assessments and verify surgical procedures, consent, and documentation.
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Accurately document patient care and surgical records in accordance with hospital policies.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile technique.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
