AC Corporation is now accepting applications for our HVAC Apprenticeship Program , an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while earning industry-recognized certifications. This state-approved program, developed in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Labor and the NC Community College System , is designed to train the next generation of skilled HVAC professionals. APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH JUNE 30th WITH EXPECTED START DATE OF AUGUST 10TH.

About the Apprenticeship Program

• Occupation: Commercial Heating & Air-Conditioner Service, Repair and Installation
• Program Length: 6,000 - 8,000 on-the-job training (OJT) hours (~3-4 years)
• Education: (1.) A.A.S. Degree in HVAC from a related educational institution in the North Carolina Community College System. (2.) Full access to monthly training via AC University, AC Corporation’s internal training department.
• Program Approach: Hybrid model (combining competency-based and time-based learning)
• Wage Scale: Earn while you learn!
• Start at $20/hr with scheduled wage increases up to $25/hr upon completion.
• Plus a stipend earned while you attend class
• Benefits: Eligible for full benefit program the 1st of the month following 30 days
• Medical and Dental benefits
• 401K after 3 months of employment
• Company service vehicle
• Tuition Assistance: Eligible for up to $5,250 per year in educational assistance through AC Corporation’s Sponsorship Program.

• The ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Pass a drug screen and background check
