Job Summary We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Specialist to enrich our passionate team of imaging experts committed to delivering outstanding care. With state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment at your fingertips, you will perform diagnostic procedures, actively collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing accurate imaging and peace of mind to patients. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy and professionalism
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and oversee the maintenance of imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Document procedures with accuracy and uphold patient records within the electronic medical record system
- Remain updated on cutting-edge advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a comparable field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Robust technical ability in sonographic imaging methods and patient imaging positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillset
- Capacity to work both independently and as an integral part of a collaborative team
