Position Highlights:

• Position: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist
• Location: Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (WOSM)

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' anatomy.
• Monitor patients during scans and communicate any issues or concerns to supervising physicians.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy, ensuring diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks associated with MRI procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding MRI procedures and protocols.
• Follow all MRI safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree required.
• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Must have a current license in the State of Colorado.
• ARRT Registry in Radiology (MR) (Required)
• Current BLS

Compensation:

• $38.00- $43.70 per hour, depending on education and experience.
• Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.

• Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 after starting work.
