The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.Basic Qualifications:-Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field-Demonstrated ability to analyze engine performance and installation effects-Skilled at analyzing steady‑state and transient engine data for troubleshooting-Programming experience (Python, Matlab) for the purposes of data analysis, plotting, and tool creation for improving engineering processesDesired Skills:-Experience with Supplier Management to resolve propulsion system issues with production and/or fleet aircraft. -Flight line support experience: Understanding propulsion system faults, troubleshooting, root cause corrective action (RCCA) and working with other affected teams to resolve propulsion hardware-related issues. -Experience generating Basis of Estimates (BoEs) & Statement of Works (SoWs) for engineering proposals. -Experience with aircraft sustainment activities, to include working with internal teams such as quality, materials & processes, System Safety, Airworthiness, and Project Engineering as well as customers/operators to address fleet-related issues-Experience with NPSS and CADSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
