Mechanical Assembler

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Duration: 3 - 6 months Pay range : $19.50/hr. on w2 without benefits Shift: 2nd shift: 3PM-1:30AM Mon-Thur (3-6 month contract role) Job Description: With minimum supervision, responsible for a variety of assemble/test functions in order to meet customer delivery schedules. Responsibilities: Following establishes procedures, responsibilities may include some or all of the following. Performs basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment. Records test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters. Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives. Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specification. Assembles/tests to customer and/or industry standards. Ensures equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of general mechanical work experience preferred. May be required to lift up to 35 lbs.
