Staff Attorney — Immigrant Detention Civil Rights

The ACLU‑NC seeks a full‑time, term‑limited Staff Attorney to defend the civil rights of detained immigrants, with a focus on individuals detained by ICE in a soon‑to‑open facility in Winton, NC. The attorney will spend significant time in Winton monitoring conditions and building a legal outreach program at the detention site. Reporting to the legal director, the Staff Attorney will develop federal and state court litigation, pursue habeas petitions when needed, and collaborate with attorneys, #J-18808-Ljbffr ACLU of North Carolina
