Physician Assistant PA-C or Nurse Practitioner ACNP (Outpatient)

United Digestive is a large, well-established organization with approximately 140 physicians, 120 Mid-level Providers, and 27 endoscopy centers in the southeast. To learn more about the practice, please visit our website at DETAILSAtlanta Gastroenterology Associates - Forsyth and Griffin locations- The position will split time between the Forsyth and Griffin locations, working three days in Forsyth and two days in Griffin weekly.GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIESResponsible for providing medical assistance to patients in office and in hospital, and receives training and direction from practice physicians.RESPONSIBILITIESDuties include but are not limited toRunning daily GI outpatient clinicAccurately providing and counseling patients with information for medical treatment or proceduresAnswering emails and voicemails and returning patient calls in a timely and efficient mannerAbiding by and promoting HIPAA compliance; maintaining strictest confidentiality with regards to patient informationREQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCEMaster of Medical Science, Physician Assistant or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner required, adult or acute care Nurse Practitioner. GI experience preferred, however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
