Our Bagdad operations in Arizona offers housing at a subsidized rate, a family-friendly atmosphere and numerous amenities including an aquatic center, golf course and fitness center. Located 100 miles northwest of Phoenix, Bagdad is home to the world's first commercial - scale concentrate leach processing facility, as well as one of the longest continuously operating solvent extraction/electrowinning plants in the world.  Visit the Bagdad town website to learn more.What You Will DoReview analyses and designs; and investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering project.Serve as Project Manager or Technical Advisor on small-to-medium projects in area of expertise.Evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services.Collaborate in site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated Engineering areas.Assist in the development and evaluation of Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) for capital funding.Perform other duties as required.What You Bring To FreeportBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline from an accredited curriculum and three (3) years of experience in an applicable Engineering field of expertise, ORMaster's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline from an accredited curriculum and two (2) years of experience in an applicable Engineering field of expertiseKnowledge in the principles and practices of Civil, Geotechnical, Structural or Hydrologic Engineering or a related field of Science or EngineeringKnowledge of appropriate software (MS Office, AutoCAD, RISA 3D)Certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or equivalentAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to a diversely educated audience.Present a positive, professional image.Self-motivated, energetic, able to execute, and client-service oriented.Be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety of yourself and others.Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.Preferred QualificationsPMP, EIT, and/or Project Management experienceExperience in a mining, metals, or processing plant environment What We Offer YouThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $93,000-$127,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
