Heavy Haul Transport DiverAs a Heavy Haul Equipment Transport Driver at W.W. Clyde & Co., you will play a critical role in safely transporting heavy construction equipment and portable asphalt/hot plant structures to and from job sites across the Intermountain West.This is a Local 222 Teamsters position. Candidate must be willing to join the Teamsters union.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad, secure, measure, and transport heavy equipment to and from job sites.Transport broken or inoperable equipment to repair shops as needed.Maintain a valid CDL (with Doubles, Triples, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements) and DOT medical card.Know and comply with all DOT regulations, including load height and width restrictions.Maintain an insurable driving record and ensure a safe work environment at all times.Be prepared for occasional overnight stays (travel required).QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Valid CDL with Doubles, Triples, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements.Strong understanding of DOT compliance and safety requirements.Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely.Willingness to work long hours and travel as needed.Willingness to join Local 222 Teamsters UnionPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk long distances over uneven terrain.Frequently required to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.Must regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs, including overhead lifting.Frequent climbing on/off equipment using steps or short vertical ladders.Clear communication skills to follow instructions and safety protocols.What We ValueCommitment to safety above all else.Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic.Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
