Maintenance TechnicianWage: $26-$30/hourShift: 1stHours: 7:00am-3:30pmQps Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 1st shift.Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systemsDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptlyRespond to maintenance requests, emergencies, and equipment failuresTrack maintenance activity and keep accurate records of repairs and inspectionsAssist in facility improvement projects and procurement of materialsMaintenance Technician Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certification or vocational training is a plus)- 5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or facility setting- Familiarity with HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test- Frequently required to stand, walk and perform manual tasks- Occasionally required to kneel, stoop, climb, or work at heights or up to 20 feet- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as neededQps Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
