Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2388.00 Opportunity: RN - CV Tele Job Details: • 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend requirement • Must work 2 of 3 major holidays • First to float to similar or lower acuity units • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks • Must have a minimum of 2 full years of experience to be considered • Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer (maximum of 2 attempts) • Must pass a Pass/Fail exam on day 1 of orientation with an emphasis on sterile field techniques • Unit: CV Tele D2 & C4 - 32 bed unit • Patient ratio: 1:3-4 • Must be able to interpret EKGs using centralized telemetry monitoring • Administer and titrate medications including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine (titrating down only) • Common patient diagnoses include post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, and general telemetry • No pediatric patients - patients must be 15 years of age or older • Charge nurse available with no patient assignment and a Clinical Supervisor in a management role • PCTs available at a ratio of 1 per every 16 patients • Respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available 24/7 • Hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night • 2-day floor-specific orientation provided • Charting system: Cerner • Scrub color: Navy • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS Facility: This is a Level 1 Trauma acute care facility offering comprehensive cardiovascular and telemetry services.
