Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: KY or compact license required Certifications: NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: 2 years experience in an ER setting Required certifications in NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS No trauma level one experience necessary Description: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. Required certifications include NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. No trauma level one experience is necessary. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. Only first-time travelers with level 1 ER experience will be considered. Requests for time off longer than one week will not be approved unless there are special circumstances. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted for this position. Travelers will complete online training modules once onboarded. Candidates must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. Rehire eligibility will be checked, and candidates must have been away from previous employment for six months to be eligible for rehire. All candidates must have a clean licensure record, and any hits on a license may disqualify their application. Candidates should be informed of their eligibility for rehire before submission.
