About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Level One Trauma Facility License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must have experience in Progressive Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, and Medical Surgical nursing. - Every other weekend required. - Candidates will float to other universal/progressive areas. - Local travelers within a certain radius are not accepted. Description: Caring for medical-surgical patients. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a Level One Trauma Facility. Candidates are required to have a valid state license or compact license. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Every other weekend work is mandated. Candidates may float to other areas within the facility and surrounding affiliates. Previous experience in charge roles is preferred. Candidates must provide at least one reference upon application. Compliance with required certifications and assessments is necessary. Candidates should have knowledge of various patient diagnoses and specialized procedures.
