Director, Precision Medicine Neuroimmunology

AbbVie seeks a Director of Precision Medicine Neuroimmunology to lead strategy development for neuroscience programs across discovery through clinical trials. The role focuses on neurodegenerative disorders and requires expertise in precision medicine approaches including biomarkers, imaging, and digital technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and implement precision medicine strategies for drug discovery through Phase 3 clinical trials
Develop expertise in fluid biomarkers, digital approaches, functional brain measures, and neuroimaging techniques
Serve as precision medicine expert across clinical development, discovery, regulatory, and operations teams
Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and key opinion leaders as needed
Communicate scientific and technical information effectively to senior management and cross-functional audiences

Requirements

PhD in neuroscience or related scientific discipline
Approximately 10 years of relevant work experience in neuroscience
Pharma or biotech research and development experience, preferably neuroimmunology-focused
Demonstrated ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
Strong scientific communication skills for diverse audiences including senior management
Agility and willingness to learn across multiple project areas
