Maintenance Technician I – Apartments | $23-$25/hr + Full Benefits Location: Salem, OR (Eastpark Apartment Homes) Schedule: Full-Time | Tuesday-Saturday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and appliance repairs Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the entire property Complete routine work orders and preventative maintenance tasks Maintain common areas, including the leasing office, clubhouse, fitness center, laundry rooms, restrooms, and model apartments Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and pruning Conduct daily property walks and remove trash and debris Assist with snow and ice removal to maintain a safe community Help maintain pool areas, including basic pool upkeep and water testing Pressure wash, paint curbs, and assist with general property upkeep projects Support property inspections and safety initiatives Accurately document completed work and maintenance activities

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

One year of maintenance, porter, janitorial, landscaping, construction, or related experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance About the Role As a Maintenance Technician I, you'll play an important role in keeping the community clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and wants to gain experience across multiple areas of property maintenance while making a positive impact on residents every day. Physical Requirements Requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders up to six feet, using hand and power tools, operating landscaping equipment, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
