What You'll Do

• Support adult patients, primarily coal miners, in a specialized Black Lung Clinic
• Conduct critical care rounding for up to 6 patients daily
• See 4 patients per day for black lung evaluations
• Perform procedures such as A-line insertions and interpret EKGs & PFTs
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists and other care team members
• Document patient visits using Epic EMR system
• Maintain compliance with clinic protocols and safety standards

What You Need

• Required:
  • Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine
  • Virginia Medical License
  • Ability to perform A-line insertions and interpret EKG & PFTs
  • COVID-19 vaccination (flu shot mandatory)
  • Good standing with no pending malpractice or background issues
• Preferred:
  • Experience in critical care or lung-specific clinics
