What You’ll Do

Provide specialized pulmonary care to adult patients in a Black Lung Clinic setting
Conduct critical care rounding, managing up to 6 patients daily
Perform procedures such as A-line insertions and interpret EKGs and PFTs
Collaborate with respiratory therapists and clinical staff
Document patient care using Epic EMR system
Support patient education and preventative care measures
Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations

What You Need

Required:

Virginia Medical License
Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine
Ability to perform A-line insertions, interpret EKG & PFTs
Vaccination against influenza

Preferred:

Experience in critical care and adult pulmonology
Strong diagnostic and procedural skills

About the Assignment

This assignment involves providing pulmonary care to adult coal miners at a reputable Black Lung Clinic. The role focuses on critical care rounding, procedures, and interpretation of diagnostic tests, supporting a dedicated team in a well-established facility.
