Financial Data Analyst

Financial Data Analyst – Cleveland office – hybrid with work-from-home flexibility. Position Summary Prepare ad‑hoc reports for analyzing financial information. Assist with developing, automating, and implementing financial models, reports, budgets and forecasts. Use SQL and Power BI for data analysis and reporting. Essential Functions Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and graphs for firm management. Work with SQL to query, merge and analyze large sets of data. Analyze and understand business requirements and create reports to support needs. Utilize Power BI and other business intelligence software to build interactive dashboards and reports. Serve as an important resource for practice group leaders, department heads and senior staff regarding their reporting needs. Perform detailed analysis on Power BI reports to determine areas for improvement. Lead the development of reports using SQL, Excel, Power BI and other analytical tools. Process, clean, and validate data for predictive analysis and data modeling. Collaborate with multiple departments across the firm to analyze and automate business needs. Identify and assess current performance and historical trends across all practice groups and departments. Confidentiality Due to the nature of the role, you will handle documents and information of confidential nature which must be kept confidential at all times. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, business intelligence, data engineering or business administration. 3‑5 years of data analysis experience. Advanced proficiency in SQL queries. Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills. Experience in financial analysis and modeling preferred. Ability to prioritize tasks and perform under tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service attitude. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $81,000 to $98,000 per year. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
