Compensation: Varies based on experience level Hours: 6 hours per week Employment Type: Internship (Fall 2026) About the Job SistaBosses is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern, with an entrepreneurial drive to our women’s leadership and professional development initiative. SistaBosses empowers women at every stage of their professional journey, from launching their careers to growing into successful entrepreneurs and independent business owners. Through education, networking, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, SistaBosses aims to help women build confidence and the community they need to thrive in business and leadership. Our goal is to expand the SistaBosses brand, increase community engagement, branding, social media strategy, event marketing, and content creation. The selected candidate will gain practical experience and contribute to the growth of a mission-driven organization. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Create and schedule engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok Develop and implement social media and marketing campaigns Design marketing materials Support the promotion of networking events, workshops, and community initiatives Assist with email outreach and development of a newsletter Monitor social media engagement and provide recommendations for audience growth Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms Education and Experience Requirements Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Business, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred) Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior (preferred) Experience with Google Workspace and AI assisted tools (ChatGPT, Claude) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Organizational and time management skills Creative thinker with attention to detail Knowledge of and experience with using social media platforms Basic graphic design and content creation skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Comfortable learning new software and marketing tools Passion for women’s leadership and entrepreneurship This internship provides an opportunity to build a professional marketing portfolio and make a positive impact on a growing women’s leadership organization. Interns will receive mentorship, gain hands-on experience managing marketing campaigns, and develop skills in branding, digital marketing, and strategic communications.
