Focused on building long-term relationships through a nationwide network of over 1,400 employees and sales partners, the professionals at Herff Jones have been helping elevate the student experience throughout the lifelong journey of education for more than 100 years.What You'll Be Doing On A Daily Basis:Serve as the first point of contact for employees, applicants, visitors, and vendors, creating a welcoming and professional experience.Assist the HR department by answering questions and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.Maintain employee data and process transactions within the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Coordinate visitor logistics, employee events, meetings, and other departmental activities.Prepare materials, presentations, documents, and supplies, including printing, laminating, and assembling packets.Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and Senior HR Coordinator.Assist with onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and special HR projects.Support daily HR operations and perform other administrative duties as assigned.What You'll Bring to the Table:Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.A high level of discretion when handling confidential information.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with data entry and recordkeeping.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HR systems and technology.A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to build a career in Human Resources.Education / Certifications Required:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Previous administrative, customer service, reception, or office support experience preferred.Physical Requirements:Daily activity includes but is not limited to:Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during the workday.Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds.Ability to operate standard office equipment and work at a computer for extended periods.Herff Jones, Inc. and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers and maintain affirmative action plans to recruit, retain, develop, and promote qualified individuals without unlawful consideration of race, gender, gender identity, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, citizenship status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
