Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, galleries, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry where required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support emergency situations and special events by providing visible armed presence, assisting with crowd guidance, and documenting security-related incidents in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
