Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Quality Technician I for a company in Saint Paul, MN. This role plays a key part in supporting quality systems, ensuring product compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. What You'll Do as a Quality Technician:
Perform visual and dimensional inspections using established standards and tools Set up, adjust, and operate inspection equipment including CMM machines Document and report nonconformances and inspection results in quality systems (e.g., Epicor) Support process improvements, failure investigations, and quality initiatives Collect, analyze, and report data to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
What You Need to Bring to the Quality Technician Role:
High school diploma required (technical certification or associate degree preferred) At least 1 year of manufacturing experience or equivalent technical training in quality Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Basic understanding of GD&T principles and inspection tools (calipers, microscopes, CMM) Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
