We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Front Desk Receptionist who will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and help create an exceptional patient experience.

Position Summary

The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for welcoming patients, managing the front office, scheduling appointments, answering phones, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring smooth daily clinic operations. This role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and identification
• Assist patients with completing intake and registration paperwork
• Upload patient identification and required documents into the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collect co-pays and other patient payments when applicable
• Maintain organized patient files and documentation
• Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff
• Monitor the reception area to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
• Assist with scanning, faxing, and other administrative tasks
• Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous medical office or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn EMR systems
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a medical office or pain management clinic
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience with scheduling software or electronic medical records
