Mango & Huber, CPAs, a full-service, boutique public accounting firm located in Springfield, NJ, provides a full spectrum of tax, accounting, audit, financial statement and consulting services to individuals and businesses.

We're currently seeking detail-oriented self-starter with 3+ years of recent public accounting experience to assist with tax and administrative tasks. Reporting to the Client Services Manager, this key role is responsible for processing tax returns, overseeing office operations and new hire onboarding, supporting the firm’s accountants, and handling a variety of administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Tax Return Processing - Process a high volume of individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required information and documentation is complete.
\n
• Client Service & Communication - Coordinate the delivery of tax returns and invoices to clients, obtain signatures, and conduct timely follow-up on outstanding items. Assist with business registrations and obtain federal Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) on behalf of clients.

• Staff Supervision & Administrative Support - Provide administrative support to the firm’s accountants and oversee the work of administrative and part-time staff to help ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

• New Hire & Client Onboarding - Set up and train new employees on firm technology, software, and processes. Coordinate new client setup and ensure client information and documentation are properly established in firm systems.

• Office & Records Management - Maintain office equipment, including computers and copiers; order office supplies; and maintain organized client and administrative files.

Qualifications:

\n
• 3+ years of recent public accounting experience
\n
• Accounting degree is a plus
\n
• Strong communication, organizational, client service, and PC skills including MS Word/Excel and accounting software proficiency (Thomson Reuters UltraTax and DocuSign software proficiency are a plus)
\n
• Strategic thinker with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
\n
• Availability to work overtime and weekends during busy season
\n
