Sterling Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a 164 bed long term care facility located in Media, PA. We are seeking an experienced Unit Clerk.
The purpose of this position is to maintain medical records on the units and assist the unit manager with all clerical duties :
Unit Clerk Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must possess effective communication skill
- Must possess clerical/office skills
UNIT CLERK RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Implement procedures to maintain the medical record system in compliance with federal, state and local requirements
- Assist the medical record designee with audit duties
- Assist the medical record designee with filing
- Assist the medical record designee with computer data entry
- Assist with scheduling appointments for residents
