Senior Counsel - Aviation Liability

Senior Counsel An experienced counsel-level litigator is sought to join a premier automotive product liability and warranty litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex, high-value cases across state and federal courts, representing major manufacturers, insurers, and government entities. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer, strategic thinker, and confident advocate who can independently handle all stages of litigation, from discovery through trial. Senior Counsel Responsibilities: Manage all phases of complex litigation, from responsive pleadings through trial preparation. Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and attend hearings and mediations. Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and other key litigation documents. Conduct sophisticated legal research and prepare memoranda and case analyses. Review, assess, and organize document productions. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for clients. Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely, efficient case handling. Senior Counsel Requirements: J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Active member of the California Bar. Significant litigation experience, preferably in automotive product liability, aviation, or consumer warranty matters. Familiarity with California Lemon Law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Proven experience in both State and Federal courts. Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet strict deadlines. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
