Temporary Training & Support Specialist
The Temporary Training & Support Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs related to scheduling and workforce management software utilized within care provider environments. This role owns the full training lifecycle, including needs assessment, curriculum development, facilitation, user adoption, and ongoing support.
The ideal candidate combines operational knowledge of staffing and scheduling processes with strong instructional design capabilities. This individual will work independently, manage multiple stakeholder relationships, and help ensure successful adoption of workforce technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop training programs, materials, and learning resources from the ground up
- Conduct training needs assessments and identify knowledge gaps
- Deliver virtual training sessions to end users and client stakeholders
- Support implementation and adoption of scheduling and workforce management software
- Provide ongoing user support, coaching, and reinforcement training
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align training with operational goals
- Manage multiple training initiatives and client engagements simultaneously
- Maintain documentation, training assets, and knowledge resources
Required Qualifications
- Experience within senior living, long-term care, healthcare, or other care provider environments
- Direct exposure to staffing, workforce scheduling, or labor management operations
- Hands-on experience using scheduling software or workforce management systems
- Proven experience creating training curriculum and learning programs from scratch
- Experience in a client-facing training, implementation, or support capacity
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in start-up, growth-stage, or rapidly evolving environments
- Familiarity with healthcare staffing regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience coaching others on training delivery and facilitation techniques
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
