Workers Compensation Claims Assistant – Ontario, CA (In‑office) Primary Purpose: To provide support to the claims staff and perform other office tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities Set up and enter new claims into the claims management system. Input and review notes/diaries in the system as instructed. Process payments and manage mail, including filing, faxing, and photocopying. Prepare, create, and send letters, reports, and forms. Answer and initiate telephone calls, set up medical appointments, and provide customer service as required. Execute additional activities/projects such as preparing and distributing computer reports. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum six months of clerical or customer‑service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. PC literate, including Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Ability to meet performance expectations and deadlines. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Computer keyboarding and occasional travel.
