About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Relationship Director, and Investment Specialist to join their team. This key role is focused on strategic relationship management and investment expertise to grow assets and deepen partnerships, particularly with fee-based RIAs. The successful candidate will be the primary representative for the company in the external marketplace, responsible for understanding and communicating the company's investment process and philosophy. This includes a mission-driven purpose, unique private ownership structure, and a commitment to financial science. The role involves growing assets under management, contributing to the development of a strategic distribution strategy, and influencing a consultative, solutions-based sales approach. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of selling to sophisticated, fee-based RIAs. The role requires the ability to engage in sophisticated conversations about portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management, as well as a broad-based understanding of portfolio behavior and capital markets. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, or the ability to attain them. The ideal candidate will demonstrate intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. A collaborative, team-based sales culture is essential, as is a proactive mindset and a commitment to driving results through partnership and accountability.
