Position Details Title: Leasing Specialist (Part‑time) Hours: Thurs‑Sat 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Role The Leasing Specialist is responsible for leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations within the community. Key Accountabilities Greet and qualify prospects. Record all telephone and in-person visits on guest cards. Inspect models and communicate needs to Community Manager. Use product knowledge to inform prospects and close sales. Process applications, ensure compliance with Fair Housing, and secure deposits. Update availability reports and manage move‑in readiness. Follow up on prospects that did not close and refer to sister communities. Secure new resident signatures and orient new residents. Monitor renewals, distribute notices, and manage related paperwork. Administrative Type leases, input data into Yardi Voyager, and maintain resident files. Maintain accurate monthly commission records. Assist management with other tasks as needed. Implement community policies consistently. Resident Retention Answer resident requests and resolve concerns. Complete maintenance service requests and follow up with residents. Ensure timely completion of maintenance repairs. Maintain communication with Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. Contribute to community cleanliness and curb appeal. Assist in planning and hosting resident events. Adherence to Property Management Rules, Regulations and Guidelines Conduct business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and all applicable laws. Maintain compliance file maintenance under direction of Compliance and Community Manager. Qualifications 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience. Experience with Low Income Housing & Tax Credit preferred. Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. Solid computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, internet, email). Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Essential staff; must adhere to all safety and business protocols. Frequent sitting and walking; use of computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone.
