Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant plays a pivotal role in delivering a seamless and personalized care experience. Working directly under the supervision of a physician, you will be responsible for collecting, documenting, and communicating accurate patient information, assisting in care delivery, supporting diagnostics, and ensuring regulatory and organizational compliance. You will also coordinate patient requests, manage lab processes, and help ensure that every interaction reflects the highest standard of service.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and manage clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR)Assist the physician in implementing individualized care plansCreate and manage supplement orders through online dispensariesObtain insurance pre-authorizations when necessaryProcess prescription requests and conduct medication reconciliationCollect and review diagnostic test results from lab portalsProvide patient instructions as directed by the physicianQualifications & CompetenciesTechnical Expertise:Proficient in medical terminology and diagnostic workflowsHIPAA compliance certifiedExperienced with EHR systems and laboratory diagnostic portalsExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressureSkilled in time management and meeting tight deadlinesAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgmentInterpersonal Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentA commitment to providing outstanding customer service and personalized careEducation & Experience:Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (preferred)Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physician's office or ambulatory care setting (in lieu of formal certification)Why Join Fountain Life?At Fountain Life, we are on a mission to make 100 the new 60 by providing data-driven, personalized, and preventative healthcare.
