Security Supervisor – DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Denver We are looking for a highly engaging, safety‑and‑customer focused individual to lead the security team at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Denver. The Security Supervisor is responsible for the safety and security of guests, employees, and the property, and works closely with other departments to ensure a high level of service. Your Responsibilities Carry out the safety policies and procedures of the property and Pyramid Global Hospitality. Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for guests and associates. Hire and train the security team to uphold the highest standards of safety. Reduce the opportunity for the commission of crimes using preventive patrol and high visibility of security throughout the premises on a timely schedule – requires a valid driver’s license in good standing to patrol the parking lot in a company vehicle. Promote and preserve peace on premises to assure a comfortable and non‑threatening environment for guests and employees. Aid, or seek aid for, individuals who are in danger of physical harm, or in need of medical attention. Respond to emergencies as prescribed in the Emergency Service Procedures of the property. Assure the security of guest and employee information both in written reports and in general business operations. Act as hotel manager on duty. Complete all daily activity and incident reports. Help assure compliance with liquor laws. Assist in developing and presenting security‑related programs. Review and edit written records produced by security officers. Assist with scheduling and payroll approval as needed. Assist with overnight coverage as needed (a $1 per hour differential applied to overnight shifts). Aid in other job classifications as determined necessary by immediate superior. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license in good standing. One year of leadership experience preferred. Prior hospitality experience preferred. At least one year of customer service experience preferred. Two years of security or police experience (military or civilian), preferably with exposure to the hotel environment. Two years of college in a safety, security, or hospitality related discipline. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays. First Aid/CPR certification, instructor rating preferred. High quality written and oral communication skills. Compensation Hourly rate: $22 – $23, based on experience and qualifications.
